Leap Year (2010), Anand Tucker

Genre: Romance
Overall Rating:
(out of 5)
This is a pretty straight-forward romance. It takes on the usual characters, predicaments, etc... One thing that pisses me off about all these romance movies is that the woman ALWAYS cheats on the guy, and we root her on... like seriously, wtf? But I digress.  This is entertaining to watch with the gals... nothing more.

The Story:

(out of 5)
1 Point: Interesting
2 Points: Original
1 Point: Unpredictable
1 Point: OMGZ
Like the typical woman, Anna is dying to have her boyfriend propose to her.  After a false alarm, she decides to follow him on his trip to Dublin to propose to him instead, for an Irish tradition on the Leap Year that the man can't refuse.  However, her plane gets diverted and we follow Anna on a ridiculous journey to go and meet her boyfriend before its too late.

Believability:
(out of 5)
1 Point: No Disbelief
1 Point: Well-Explained
1 Point: Characters Fit Conceivably

Ehhh.  These romances are always a little overkill, but hey, no real reason not to believe it (other than these things really don't exist).
Weight:
(out of 5)

Very pretty landscapes that make up for a lot of the cheesy.
